Laps'trail - Vieux-Moulin is a five-hour trail race structured around repeated laps instead of a fixed finish distance. Each lap covers 8.29 km with 247 m of elevation gain and loss, allowing runners to familiarize themselves with the loop and time limit while determining their own pace. The objective is straightforward: the individual, pair, or relay team with the most completed laps wins, with ties resolved by the fastest time on the final lap.
Participants can compete solo or in pairs, with two team options. In Duo Together, partners begin and conclude the race side-by-side. In Duo Relay, they share a single bib, exchanging it at each checkpoint, with flexibility to alternate laps or have one runner complete multiple laps consecutively. No participant must remain active for the entire five hours, accommodating diverse strategies and fitness capabilities. Post-race, the event embraces a northern French ambiance, featuring food vendors, fries, and chilled beers.
