Les Coteaux de Cébazat is a trail-running and walking event held in Cébazat, located in the Puy-de-Dôme department within France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Typically held in mid-March, it features two trail races, 10 km and 20 km, alongside an 11 km walk. The event takes place at the base of the Volcans d’Auvergne, offering hill-and-forest running distinct from flat road races.
The courses ascend the slopes near Puy de Var. The 10 km trail involves approximately 300 metres of elevation gain, while the 20 km trail gains about 600 metres. The 20 km race, a single-loop Trail XS, is the most attended distance. The walk also follows a single loop, providing access to the same natural scenery for non-runners. With recent fields numbering over 100 participants, the event maintains a local and accessible atmosphere.
