The Lions and Lionceaux races in Plauzat offer runners exclusive use of the roads. The 5 km and 10 km events take place on closed, paved roads, following a brief soft-ground section at the stadium's start. The Lions races are morning road races for adults and older juniors. The 5 km is open to Minime through Master categories, and the 10 km is for Cadet through Master. The Lionceaux races include a children's event later in the morning, with on-site registration.
The 5 km route goes under the park toward the D630, heads toward La Sauvetat, descends slightly, then climbs for about 1 km via Chemin de la Sagne before returning to Plauzat on the D792 and finishing near the Salle des fêtes. The 10 km route initially heads toward Authezat on the D96, returns via the D792, and then repeats the 5 km loop. Both races have modest elevation gains: 35 m for the 5 km and 43 m for the 10 km. Refreshments are available at the finish, with an additional station halfway through the 10 km and more water points provided if weather conditions require.
