Run & Bike Segre Triathlon - Souvenir Bernard Pichard - Segré-en-Anjou Bleu 2026

The Run & Bike Segre Triathlon at the Souvenir Bernard-Pichard takes place in late October at the Parc de Bourg-Chevreau in Segré-en-Anjou Bleu, Maine-et-Loire. It combines running and cycling in a straightforward team format: two athletes share a single bike, moving through the course together and alternating between riding and running. Segré Triathlon organizes the run-and-bike races, offering 9 km and 15 km distances, while ESSHA cyclisme and Segré Triathlon collaborate on the overall event. The event also features cyclo-cross and a walking tour, accommodating various participants in the park. Approximately 600 stakes mark the circuits, supported by about 80 volunteers from both associations. The event honors Bernard Pichard, the cycling club's first president, who previously organized a race at Bourg-Chevreau and envisioned reviving a Belgian-style cyclo-cross where bikes would pass through tables. The Bourg-Chevreau cyclo-cross was reinstated about 50 years after its initial staging.
