Dawlish Swim

Dawlish Swim is a short sea swim at Dawlish Warren in Devon, offering a 750m option for those seeking an accessible open-water challenge. This event is part of the Dawlish Triathlon, which also includes 1500m and 3000m sea swims. The 750m distance is the shortest option available, suitable for open-water swimming newcomers and swimmers preferring a shorter distance in calm, clear water. The course takes place in the sea at Dawlish Warren, with safety provided by Teignmouth Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Swimmers require a swimsuit and goggles; wetsuits are optional but recommended for those new to open water, offering warmth and buoyancy. Short and sleeveless wetsuits are permitted. All finishers receive medals, with podium presentations and prizes. Gels and snacks will be available post-swim.
