Great Scottish Run

The Great Scottish Run takes place in central Glasgow every October, serving as Scotland's largest mass-participation sports event. Originally a marathon established in 1979, it now features a weekend of shorter races, including junior events, a 10K, and a half marathon. The primary adult races attract thousands, with 10K participation open to those aged 15 and older, and half-marathon participation open to those aged 17 and older.
