5th Dromos Voufrados 2026 - 20km

Dromos Voufrados is a short evening road race in Chatzi, Messenia, beginning and ending in the village’s main square. The listed distance is 1.5 km, positioning it as a local community run rather than a long-distance challenge, with all activities occurring the same evening. The Cultural Association of Chatzi “Renaissance” organizes the event. The entry fee includes a technical shirt, timing chip, medal, and recovery food featuring local products. The race is open to all age groups, from primary school children aged 6–12 to secondary school runners, high school students, and adults. Companions are welcome, and runners under 18 require parental consent. Awards are given not only to the overall winner but also to second and third place finishers in age categories, covering adults and school-age groups. Following the awards, a traditional dinner using local products concludes the event, reinforcing the race's connection to the village beyond just the course.
