The Wizz Air Rome Half Marathon by Brooks is a 21.1 km road race in Rome, held in October. It is large enough to sell out its normal entry well ahead of race day, with a field close to 40,000 runners. This is nearly double the 22,000 from the previous edition, making it one of the busiest half marathons on the European road-running calendar. The race, now in its third edition, has grown fast under organizer RCS Sports and Events. Once standard bibs are gone, runners can still enter through the charity route. Rete del Dono links them with official non-profits, provides a personal fundraising page, and awards a solidarity bib once they raise at least €150. About 1,000 of these charity bibs are available, attracting club runners, first-timers chasing a big-city half marathon, and people running as ambassadors for specific causes.
