Gravel Valley Nijverdal 2026

Gravel Valley Nijverdal begins and ends at De Wilgenweard in Nijverdal, situated on the edge of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. This gravel ride welcomes both new participants and seasoned gravel cyclists. Online registration is open, with a morning start window from 09:30 to 11:00. Participants can select routes of 50 km, 80 km, or 120 km, offering options for a first gravel excursion or a more demanding challenge. The routes traverse unpaved paths, undulating heathland, tranquil forest roads, and secluded tracks across Twente and Salland. Aid stations provide refreshments and technical support, important for a ride focused on gravel surfaces rather than smooth asphalt. Upon returning to De Wilgenweard, participants receive a hamburger. Showers are available, parking is complimentary, and the terrace offers a communal space for those wishing to remain for a beverage.
