Staddijkloop Nijmegen

Staddijkloop Nijmegen is a small annual family running event in Park de Staddijk, with the start and finish beside the large playground near Trainingscentrum MICHI. It is a recreational race rather than a big-city spectacle, capped at about 400 runners, and it offers three choices: a 5K, a 10K, and a Kidsrun of roughly 1K for children from age four. The course stays inside the city park and uses semi-paved paths, so the feel is more local park run than road race. Nijmeegse Roadrunnersclub MIEP organizes it, registration is based at Trainingscentrum MICHI, and supporters can wait close to the playground while the races are going on. The mix is broad by design: children, parents, casual runners, and people who want a relaxed 5K or 10K in a green part of Nijmegen.
