Austevollsløpet 2026

Austevollsløpet is a local road race held at Austevoll Idrettsanlegg in Austevoll. It features an 870 m Mini-Mini marathon for children aged 0-10, followed by 5 km and 10 km races for participants aged 11 and older. The event has taken place since the early 1980s. Recent schedules place the children's race around midday, with the longer races commencing in the early afternoon. The current course is flat and officially measured, featuring 41 m of total elevation gain. This makes it suitable for casual runners and those aiming for a personal best time. Families are encouraged to participate, and strollers are permitted. The county road-running championship can be contested as part of the 5 km and 10 km races. A recent event had 25 starters across the 5 km and 10 km, including both young and adult runners in warm weather. Andreas Risøy's 10 km championship time of 46:42 provides an indication of the pace at the front.
