FjordViking is a one-day running challenge featuring three races: a half marathon in the morning, a 10 km after lunch, and a 5 km later in the afternoon. Participants register for FjordViking separately, which enrolls them in all three distances as a package, offering a discount compared to individual race entries.
The objective is to complete the full set of races, not just a single one. All participants who finish all three FjordViking distances receive a special prize, which includes a specially designed cap. In a previous edition, 70 runners entered the challenge and 55 completed every distance, with 16 women among the finishers. Bengt Eliassen and Lisbeth Fauskanger are among the runners pictured as FjordViking participants.
