Hammerfestmila 2026

Hammerfestmila is a running event held in Hammerfest city center, starting and finishing at Rådhusplassen. Participants can select a 10k or 5k race, and workplaces can form a corporate relay consisting of three 600-meter segments. Kvalsund Arctic Runners Løpeklubb and Hammerfest skiklubb organize the event, scheduled for a Saturday in September. The course is contained and community-focused: children race first, followed by the 10k and 5k events, with the relay concluding the day's activities. Entry to the children's race is free, with registration at the start area, and all children receive a prize. The relay is designed for company teams, offering invoicing to the business or a designated contact, while the main races utilize EQ Timing for registration.
