Lommedalen Rundt 2026

Lommedalen Rundt is a hill race held in Lommedalen, Bærum, Norway, typically in October. Established in 2015, it has taken place annually except for a pause because of the pandemic, organized by Aktiv i Lommedalen. The race offers a wide range of distances: participants can select from 3 km up to 19 km, 38 km, 57 km, 76 km, 100K, 114 km, or the full 161 km (100-mile) distance. The course loops through Lommedalen and Bærums Verk. Longer distances involve significant time on the hills above the valley, rather than focusing on flat road speed. The event maintains an accessible atmosphere, aiming to involve many participants, whether they aim for speed or a more relaxed pace while appreciating the scenery. The 114 km distance is uniquely named Lommedalen Rundt & Rundt, reflecting a race series concept where a local loop forms the basis for distances ranging from short runs to ultramarathon lengths.
