Magni Maraton 94

Magni Maraton is a self-supported cannonball-style marathon held at the Stavsetsvingen bus stop in Stavset, with races occurring approximately monthly since 2015. Runners manage the straightforward aspects themselves: they time their own race, ensure the clock runs continuously from start to finish, disable auto-pause, and record their result in the runner’s logbook upon completion. The full marathon consists of eight laps on the same course, beginning and ending at Stavset. Each lap is run “towards the sun,” as noted in the race instructions. All participants who finish the distance receive a medal and a digital diploma. The series has surpassed 100 editions, reflecting its character as a small, consistent event for regular participants.
