Oktobermila 2026

Oktobermila is a mid-October race held at Lerstad barneskole, with the start and finish near the school. Participants can select measured 5 km and 10 km courses, suitable as a brief autumn run or a full “October mile” in the Norwegian context. The route proceeds west along Lerstadvatnet and Lerstadvegen, utilizing gravel paths beside the water and sidewalks elsewhere. The 5 km course concludes at Gåseidnesvegen, while the 10 km extends to just before Fagerlia videregående skole. The majority of the course is flat, though both distances include Lerstadbakken on the return leg, a 300-meter uphill stretch. Traffic guards are stationed at crosswalks, parking is provided at Lerstad skole, and all finishers receive a medal. Ludvig With initiated the race and continues as its primary organizer.
