Åpent Klubbmesterskap 2026

Åpent Klubbmesterskap is an open cross-country ski club championship at Knyken, held as a relaxed freestyle race on a Saturday afternoon in October. Orkdal Idrettslag welcomes skiers from outside its club. The format is straightforward: register at the start, with no entry fee, and begin with your age group. The primary course follows an "8-figure" loop. Junior and senior men complete five laps, covering approximately 16.5 km. Junior and senior women, along with 15- and 16-year-olds, ski two laps for about 6.6 km. Younger participants have shorter courses, with the youngest under 10 skiing up to 1 km. The event includes a social component, as OIL Ski hosts an evening banquet at Orkdal Samfunnshus, featuring entertainment by the men's choir Lerka and the band Session.
