Råskinnet returns on a Saturday in early May as a traditional Norwegian spring running challenge, with the main race set at 9 km. The headline event is for runners who turn 15 or older, so this is not just a children’s fun run, but the series also gives younger runners their own starts.
Alongside Råskinnet, Råtassen covers 3 km for ages 10 to 15, with starters split by age group, and Knøttetassen covers 900 m for ages 6 to 9, with 10-year-olds also allowed. The setup points to a family race day: older teenagers and adults take on the full 9 km, while primary-school children and younger teens race shorter distances. Entry fees are listed separately for each race, and runners aged 13 or older without a Norwegian Athletics Federation license pay a small one-time license fee during EQ Timing registration.
