Sjusjørittet is a 56 km mountain bike race held at Sjusjøen in Norway’s Innlandet region, starting at the Sjusjøen cross-country stadium. Brøttum IL organizes this annual event for cyclists aged 17 and older, typically held at the end of July. The course primarily uses gravel roads with some light trail sections, positioning it between a pure gravel race and a more challenging mountain-bike event.
The route crosses the mountain areas surrounding Sjusjøen, Pellestova, Hornsjø, and Åstdalen. It is rated as medium difficulty, with an estimated completion time of approximately 3 hours 15 minutes. This event has passed its tenth edition, and a recent race saw 227 participants, nearly doubling the field from the prior year. Tormod Weydahl and Ingrid Bøe Jacobsen have achieved overall victories, with Weydahl also setting a course record on the 56 km course.
