Speira Karmøy Maraton 2026

Speira Karmøy Maraton guides runners around Karmøy with the North Sea adjacent to the course. Each November, the event provides a 42 km marathon, a half marathon, a 10 km race, and a 400 m children's race, accommodating marathoners, shorter-distance runners, and families during the same race weekend. The marathon crosses three towns and follows the coastline on both the east and west sides of Karmøy. The elite field is competitive: in one men's 35-39 category, 8 of 18 finishers completed the race in under three hours, with the winner running 2:40:58. Age groups range from young adults to over 70, and the organizers provide route film, GPX files, a course certificate, and course descriptions for participants planning their race.
