UltraBirken sykkel 2026

UltraBirken sykkel begins at Pellestova and covers approximately 100 km to Håkons Hall in Lillehammer. Held in late August, it is the more challenging, technical MTB event within the Birkebeiner series, featuring trails, varied terrain, and mountain riding, distinct from a straightforward road race. Riders are required to download and follow the official GPS track, making navigation a key component. Devices like watches, phones, or bike computers must have sufficient battery for the entire duration. The event is open to participants aged 17 and above, with starting waves determined by results from UltraBirken, Birkebeinerrittet, and prior qualifying races. UltraBirken sykkel is also a component of Birkebeinertrippelen and has been held for over ten years.
