The Bieg Lucka Chorążego is a memorial run held in Skawinki, close to Lanckorona. Its race headquarters, start, and finish are located at the sports field in Zadziele. The primary race covers approximately 14 km, resembling a local cross-country event more than a city road race. A shorter recreational run, a Nordic Walking option, and children’s races ranging from 50 m for the youngest participants to 1000 m for ages 10-11 are also available.
The main course leads from the village towards the nearby Chełm mountain, giving the longer race a hill-country character that the short format does not convey. The 5 km loop includes roughly 100 m of elevation gain, reaches an altitude of 567 m, and has been part of this route multiple times. This event commemorates Lucek Chorąży. The combination of a memorial race, a walking category, a recreational distance, and children’s races establishes it as a community-focused event rather than solely a competition for seasoned runners.
