Bieg o Złotą Szyszkę is an autumn mountain race held in Bystra Śląska, within the Beskid Śląski range near Bielsko-Biała. The primary Szyszka course covers approximately 20.3 km with about 1,200 m of elevation gain, and a shorter Szyszunia route is available at around 13 km. Ultra Beskid Sport is the organizer, and the name translates to “Race for the Golden Cone.”
The course begins near Hotel Magnus Resort, following marked trails in the Beskid mountains towards Szyndzielnia, Klimczok, Błatnia, Trzy Kopce, Chata Wuja Toma, and the Magura shelter ruins. Participants ascend to Klimczok's peak, descend via Siodło pod Klimczokiem, and conclude the race on a path featuring steep ascents, quick descents, and woodland trails. The event has attracted top Polish mountain runners, with one year seeing a record 317 participants.
