Bieg Patriotyczny Ku Wolności is an afternoon community race day in Uszew, Gmina Gnojnik, using the ORLIK sports field complex as the start and finish point. The primary race is 10 km, accompanied by a 3.5 km Nordic Walking event and shorter races for children and youth ranging from 0.1 to 5 km.
The event is organized by the Volunteer Fire Department in Uszew and commemorates 2nd Lieutenant Jan Zydroń, a local figure who died in 1920. The program is designed to be inclusive, welcoming children, teenagers, adults, walkers, local runners, and community groups. Supporters include Gmina Gnojnik, Brzesko District Office, veterans' organizations, the Home Army circle in Bochnia, and the Institute of National Remembrance, providing a patriotic context for the athletic competition.
