X Bieg po Gminie Zduńska Wola is a 10 km road race held in Janiszewice, a village within Gmina Zduńska Wola in central Poland. The primary race follows a PZLA-certified course, ensuring runners receive an officially measured distance. This event features a flat, fast asphalt course, with children’s races complementing the adult 10 km. The Volunteer Fire Department in Janiszewice organizes the race, contributing to its local community atmosphere, distinct from a large-city event. The race initially covered over 5 miles for its first five years before adopting the certified 10 km format in 2021. The tenth edition coincided with the 100th anniversary of the Janiszewice Volunteer Fire Department, and firefighter competition is integral to its character, including Polish OSP firefighter championships and local Gmina Zduńska Wola titles. Recent participants have included children, youth runners, club teams, local athletes, and international winners from Ukraine and Belarus, with the main 10 km race attracting just under 200 finishers.
