Bieg Sambora is a 10-kilometer street race in Tczew, Poland, marking its status as the city's oldest road race. The event begins at noon, guiding participants through city streets on a PZLA-certified course. This makes it suitable as both a local tradition and a precisely measured 10K for those aiming for a specific time.
The field typically comprises a few hundred runners, with participants traveling from across Poland and some from Ukraine. In one instance, 306 people registered and 274 completed the course. The fastest men finished in approximately 30-31 minutes, and the leading women in about 36-38 minutes. The race attracts regular participants to Tczew, and its results reflect a mix of strong visiting runners, athletes from nearby towns, and local Tczew runners competing in age categories.
