The Defenders of Płock street race begins and ends on Tumska Street in central Płock. The main 10 km race takes place in the evening in late August. This is a local event with a limit of 250 runners for the main race. It is organized by Płock Biega No Age Limit, with the local scout unit named after the Defenders of Płock as co-organizer.
The 10 km route consists of two 5 km laps through streets such as Tumska, Plac Narutowicza, Grodzka, Bielska, Okrzei, Kazimierza Wielkiego, and Mostowa. The course includes asphalt and walking-path sections, not a fully certified road course. A wreath-laying ceremony precedes the start. The program also features a warm-up and a 400 m children’s run for ages 5-10, limited to 40 participants, who will receive shirts, medals, and sponsor gifts upon finishing.
