The Borecka Łękuk Trail begins and ends on a hotel beach in Łękuk Mały, located in the Mazury region of northern Poland. This trail-running event centers on the Borecka Forest, offering race distances from 8 km up to ultra distances of approximately 45 km and 73 km. A 21 km race and a Borecka Kids run are also available. The shortest route, Róg 8 km, is rated easy, utilizing forest paths, meadows, and dirt roads with minimal elevation gain.
The longer races venture into the Borecka Forest, leading runners toward Wolisko, home to the Bison Show Farm, a significant local landmark. Participants in the 70 km and marathon distances must carry essential trail equipment: a charged phone with map access, water, food, a headlamp, an emergency blanket, a rain jacket, basic first aid, identification, and a race chip. Fundacja Dystans and Wioska Biegaczy are the organizers. The weekend features aid stations, post-race food and drinks, a pasta party, and a Saturday evening Borecka Łękuk Party.
