Challenge Almere-Amsterdam is a September race weekend in Almere, the Netherlands, centered on long-distance triathlon. The main race follows the standard 3.8 km swim, 180 km bike, and 42.2 km run. Middle-distance, aquabike, relay, marathon, junior, kids, business, and family races are also part of the program.
The event offers age-group triathletes a complete long-course goal. It also accommodates teams, children, families, companies, and athletes choosing aquabike races to omit the run. The long-distance race qualifies for European Championship competition. This edition marks the 45th anniversary with a new standalone marathon, positioning the weekend as both a championship venue and a community sports festival.
