Charytatywny Kamien Dwernik Trail 2025 2026

The Charytatywny Kamień Dwernik Trail is a charity mountain running event held in Dwernik, a village in the Bieszczady region of south-eastern Poland. Its primary goal is practical: entry fees and event support contribute to Krystian's rehabilitation. Participants can select from 10 km, 15 km, or 24 km routes, with a separate short race of approximately 450 meters for children. Registration typically begins on March 1, and the event, now in its tenth edition, has established local traditions. The 24 km route commences at the Dwernik fire station, covering a challenging 24 km with roughly 1,400 meters of elevation gain. The course winds through forest paths, dirt roads, and mountain trails, consisting of a single loop. It has a time limit of 5 hours and 30 minutes and is capped at 150 runners. This distance is suitable for mountain runners, joggers, and those running with dogs, and it is recognized in the Polish Mountain Runners Ranking. Fundacja Bieszczadzka organizes the event, maintaining a community atmosphere with aid stations, finisher medals, a post-race meal, and concluding with a prize draw and auction.
