Góra Kamieńsk gives this winter race its character: runners come to central Poland for a short mountain-style trail event focused on steep climbing rather than flat road speed. The series offers three distances, each with its own entry cap, and the jubilee edition has already drawn over 200 registered runners.
The confirmed routes include a 7 km race with about 300 meters of ascent and a 14 km race with about 453 meters of ascent, so even the shorter option requires strong climbing legs. Fields are limited, with 100 places in the 7 km race, which gives the event a compact feel and suits runners who want a winter trail challenge without the scale of a large mass race.
