Swedbank Vilniaus Maratonas 2026

The Swedbank Vilnius Marathon begins at Cathedral Square in central Vilnius, drawing thousands of runners into Lithuania’s capital each autumn. As the country’s largest running event, it offers distances from 5 km to the full 42.195 km marathon, alongside a 21.098 km half marathon, a 10 km race, a 200 m run for children aged 2 to 12, and a 3 km walking route named Swedbank Walk. The route guides participants through Vilnius’s historic Old Town, along river paths, and down tree-lined avenues, utilizing some of the city’s most recognized streets instead of a closed sports facility. Elite athletes, club runners, amateurs, families, and international visitors participate together. Organizers provide practical additions like complimentary event-day life and accident insurance for participants, personalized bibs for early registrants, and shirts for the first registered children and marathoners.
