The Hard Mężczyźni race is the short men's option at Tatra Road Race, a road cycling event based in Nowy Targ in Małopolskie, southern Poland. It is situated in the Podhale area below the Tatra Mountains, with current listings showing three distance choices: 46.4 km, 82.6 km, and 118.7 km. The race developed from a challenging mountain-road concept into a large amateur field, with over 1,000 riders starting across the distances in difficult weather and nearly 900 finishing in one recent edition.
The original concept originated with Cezary Szafraniec, a former racer and cycling enthusiast who desired demanding routes that offered riders multiple options. A road link from Ciche to Ratułów through Czerwienne helped finalize the loop, and the older main formats were Hell-Pro at 123 km with over 3,200 m of climbing and Hard-Fun at 54 km with over 1,450 m. Riders participate from across Poland, and the race includes additional competitions through team classifications and several on-course primes, with awards linked to Kościelisko, Szaflary, Hotel Bachledówka, and Red Bull Chojrak.
