Góra Kamieńsk defines Ultra Kamieńsk: runners and mountain bikers compete on the same active-recreation hill near Kamieńsk in Łódzkie Voivodeship, central Poland. The winter Trail Kamieńsk provides 7 km, 14 km, and 30 km mountain runs, while MTB Kamieńsk includes summer bike racing originating from the OSiR Góra Kamieńsk area. Trail Kamieńsk is a well-attended winter mountain-running event in central Poland, now in its tenth edition.
The running courses remain on Góra Kamieńsk, featuring approximately 300 m of elevation change on the 7 km course, 453 m on the 14 km course, and 957 m on the 30 km course. The shorter trail distances have a limit of 100 participants each, while the 30 km permits 200; the MTB races are smaller, with 75 entries for each of the approximately 26 km Hobby and 53 km Mega distances. The bike event has strict cutoffs of 2 hours 30 minutes for Hobby and 4 hours 30 minutes for Mega, with its race office located in tents near the lower cable car station. A unique MTB feature is the “DANIELO” mountain bonus, a separate classification on the ski slope for each distance. Stowarzyszenie Bądź Aktywny organizes Trail Kamieńsk with OSiR Góra Kamieńsk, and the Kamieńsk mayor acts as patron.
