The Bieg im. Średzkich Powstańców Wielkopolskich is a 12 km road race held in Środa Wielkopolska, western Poland. It commemorates the local participants of the Greater Poland Uprising of 1918/1919. The course starts and finishes at ul. Plażowa 4, encircling Lake Średzkie. The Municipality of Środa Wielkopolska, the Association of Families of Greater Poland Uprising participants, and Polonia Środa Wielkopolska Sports Club organize the event.
The race attracts participants from the local area and region, with 239 runners recorded in the results and winners hailing from clubs in Września and Poznań. The event also features Mały Powstaniec children’s races of 300 m, 600 m, and 1200 m. Near the start, students from military classes set up an uprising camp, and high school students in period uniforms and nurse costumes add historical detail.
