Wałecki Festiwal Biegowy is a mid-July running series held in Wałcz, located in Poland’s West Pomeranian Voivodeship, with the event headquarters situated near Lake Herta. The main event is the Wałecki Bieg Filmowy, an 11 km race with a cinema theme. The program also features BiegamBoLubię LASY over 6 km, Rajd ChodzęBoLubię over 6 km, a 720 m charity run-walk, children’s races, and 5 km events associated with national championships.
The routes traverse forest paths within the Wałcz Forest District, incorporating trails formerly utilized by Poland’s national athletics team. The 5 km race also functions as the Polish Foresters’ Championships, and an additional 5 km event bears the BiegamBoLubię championship title. Paweł Januszewski, European champion in the 400 m hurdles, will officiate the start of the film-themed race. A short 1111 m run, "TAK dla transplantacji," is back to promote transplantation as a life-saving treatment.
