The Medical University Run in Wrocław is a 10 km road race connected to the city’s medical university community, held in autumn. Sycowska Pogoń is an annual autumn running event held in Syców, beginning in the city-center park. The primary races offer straightforward, accessible road distances: 5 km and 10 km. The event also caters to younger participants with the Bieg Małych Asów, a race specifically for children. The event begins in the morning with children in colorful T-shirts lining up before the adult races commence. The announcer calls “Ready?” and the crowd responds “YES!!!”, a brief exchange that imbues the event with its local character.
