Leiria OCR Police

The Leiria OCR Police is a 10 km obstacle course race held in Leiria, Portugal. It takes place in the Polis area surrounding Parque Tenente Coronel Jaime Filipe da Fonseca, also known as Parque do Avião. The morning is dedicated to the ELITE race, featuring chip timing, a two-hour cut-off, and a limit of 120 athletes aged 16 and above. The afternoon is for the FUN category, with staggered starts, a capacity of 1,100 participants, and a two-and-a-half-hour cut-off for those viewing the course as a shared challenge rather than a competitive race. The course includes numerous natural and constructed obstacles, requiring runners to navigate strength challenges, hanging or suspension tasks, balance, coordination, water, and mud, beyond simple running. Two aid stations are provided: one with water mid-course, and the finish line offering water, fruit, solid food, and a finisher kit. ELITE competitors can earn points for the national TRICHALLENGE circuit and aim for qualification for its final. The event also offers overall prize money, age-group trophies, a trophy for the largest team, and finisher medals for everyone.
