コロンバス, INでは、2026年に市中心部から80 km以内で8件の10Kレースが開催されます。今後の日程、定期シリーズ、近隣のその他のレースをまとめて確認できます。

地元の人たちは、Columbusの公園、川沿い、People Trailsをよく走ってるね。メインのループは75 kmで27 m登るから、Z2ペースのLSDとか、軽いインターバルなんかにぴったりだよ。短い方のループは73 kmで25 mアップ。一番短いのは00 kmで16 m登るから、サクッと走りたい時にいいかも。Columbus Running Clubは、この辺りじゃ有名なクラブで、Mill Race ParkがElementary Fitness Fun Runとか、クラブ活動の中心になってるんだ。他にもKiwanis 5K Run & Walk for Kids、The Polidor 5K Run/Walk、Firecracker 5K、Gobble Wobble 5Kみたいなイベントがたくさんあって、年間を通して楽しめるよ。

サイクリストにとってColumbusは、舗装されたトレイル、カントリーロード、グラベルが楽しめる街だよ。People Trailsは軽いライドにちょうどいいし、地元の人たちも良いバイクパスやトレイルがたくさんあるって言ってる。カントリーロードはベースマイルを稼ぐのにぴったりで、この辺りには山ほどあるんだ。Moonlight LoopはBartholomew County Public Library/Visitors Center Plazaから19 miles走って、Mill Race Parkの屋根付き橋を通って戻るコース。Downtown Columbus Loop Routeは17 miles。Downtown ColumbusからNew Albanyへのルートは23 miles、または46 milesまで伸ばすこともできるよ。TRI Columbusは、バイクとランのフィットネスイベントの中心的な存在だね。

春はランナーもサイクリストも、一番気持ちよくトレーニングできる時期だよ。気温も40sから70sまで上がってくるしね。秋は60sから70sの日が多くて、9月から11月はテンポ走、gran fondoペース、長いZ2ライドにすごくいい感じ。夏は90°Fまで上がるから、トレーニングは朝早く始めるか、夕方まで待つしかないね。地元の人たちは水分補給をしっかりして、公園の木陰を利用してるよ。9°F。冬はワークアウトが短く、一定ペースになりがちで、ルート選びが大事になってくるよ。
