4STEPS THERAPEUTIC RIDING 5k 2027

The 4STEPS Therapeutic Riding 5K is a morning trail race held at the Wicomico Ranger Station on Sixty Foot Road in Parsonsburg, Maryland. It begins at 9:00 AM, directing runners onto the forested paths of the Wicomico Demonstration Forest. This is the second annual 5K on this trail. The race supports 4STEPS, a therapeutic riding program providing low-cost and scholarship services for individuals with special needs. Its horseback programs focus on posture, muscle tone, socialization, mobility, cognitive skills, sensory integration, and motor-skill motivation. Awards consist of Amazon gift cards for the top three male and female finishers, with larger prizes for first and second place.
