Alaska Airlines Dawg Dash 5K/10K 2026

The Alaska Airlines Dawg Dash 5K/10K begins and ends on the University of Washington campus in Seattle. This yearly road race includes a 10K, a 5K run/walk, and a Husky Pups Run for children 8 and under. The event is designed for UW alumni, students, staff, families, and casual runners, not exclusively serious racers. The course remains on campus, starting and finishing at UW. Dogs are permitted, aligning with the Husky theme and giving the event a community feel distinct from a typical city race. Proceeds benefit UW students, and members of the UW Alumni Association, UW Retirees Association, UW faculty and staff, and UW students receive registration discounts. The 5K and 10K have previously sold out, indicating sufficient local interest to warrant early registration.
