Cal Tri DFW takes place in late September in Valley View, Texas, located north of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Athletes can choose from 18 race options, equally divided among Olympic, Sprint, and Youth Sprint distances. The available formats include triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, swim-only, and run-only events. The Olympic distance features a 1640-yard swim and a 10K run option. The Sprint distance includes a 400-yard swim and a 5K run. RunBikeRun participants will find set run-bike-run configurations: 5K-40K-10K for the Olympic distance and 5K-20K-5K for the Sprint distance. Youth participants have a dedicated Sprint set. Swim conditions are anticipated to have an average water temperature near 77 F, and wetsuits are permitted.
