The Harvest Cyclocross Series is an Oregon race series that fits within the local cyclocross season, featuring weekend events like Zaaldercross, Columbia CX, Heiser Farm, Washougal CX, and Het Meer. It is designed for all types of riders; fast racers, club riders, and those new to cyclocross can compete in the same series.
The courses incorporate the typical cyclocross elements: short laps, tight corners, barriers, and varied surfaces that challenge precise handling. Het Meer includes deep sand at its entry and exit, prompting some riders to dismount and run, while its barriers are positioned for those proficient in hopping. Other rounds present difficult turns and occasionally two barrier sections, meaning the series values skillful bike handling alongside outright speed.
