HIGH LINE CANAL SUMMER SCAMPER 2026

The High Line Canal Summer Scamper is an annual 5K race beginning and ending at James A. Bible Park in Denver. It is described as a "5K for All," welcoming runners, walkers, and strollers on an evening course along the High Line Canal. The race commences at 6:30 p.m., with the course concluding at 8 p.m. The event supports the High Line Canal Conservancy and its efforts along the 71-mile canal corridor. Prior to the 5K, participants may engage in pre-race yoga, and children aged 8 and under can participate in a complimentary 200-meter Ditch Dash without prior registration. Following the race, the Canal Summer Fest offers food, beverages, live music, and nature-focused activities suitable for all ages. Registration provides a shirt, a chip-timed bib, downloadable photos, a meal ticket, and a drink ticket, with beer available for those 21 and older.
