Mile High United Way Turkey Trot
The Mile High United Way Turkey Trot begins at South High School in Denver on Thanksgiving morning. It features a 4-mile race and a short family fun run. The main race uses three timed start waves beginning at 9:00 a.m., while the family run starts later and stays just under one mile. The 4-mile course is a relatively flat point-to-point route, suitable for runners aiming for a specific time and those seeking a holiday run before dinner. Entry includes a timed bib for the main race, an official T-shirt, and free digital photos. The event also serves as a BOLDERBoulder qualifier. The day supports Mile High United Way fundraising, with family festivities and a Finish Village after the race that includes sponsor booths, giveaways, and interactive stops.
