Laramie Mountain Bike Series - Race #3 2026

Race #5 of the Laramie Mountain Bike Series is a mountain bike race at Happy Jack, with registration and the start/finish at the Happy Jack Trailhead. It is one of the series rounds held there, so the day is centered around the trailhead rather than a full event village. The trailhead is located off I-80 exit 323, about two miles down WYO 210 by the Happy Jack Recreation Area sign. The setup is intentionally basic: there is a bathroom in the parking lot, a cash-only Medicine Bow National Forest parking fee, and racers must bring what they need for the day. The series includes a unique points-leader rule: the leader in each category must carry a small trinket on their bike until the next race, with a ten-point penalty if they are seen without it.
