Pack Trail Race 2026

Run on a historic Valdez Pack Trail, built in 1898 as an All-American route to the Klondike Goldfields and a key access route to interior Alaska. Rediscovered and cleared by hand, the trail retains the spirit of 1899. Glimpse the original telegraph line. Despite 2006 flood damage to the trail and Richardson Highway in Keystone Canyon, the Pack Trail Race is an out-and-back on this historic route.
