Rocktown Turkey Trot 2026

The Rocktown Turkey Trot is a four-mile Thanksgiving morning race in downtown Harrisonburg, Virginia. It begins at 121 S Main St at 8:30 a.m. The main event is chip-timed with race bibs, designed for a wide range of runners, from first-timers to veterans, not exclusively for fast racers. Many participants wear Thanksgiving-themed gear, incorporating the holiday into the structure of a timed road race. The Gobble Gobble Kids Dash starts at 8:00 a.m. and concludes before the four-mile race. Children run on closed streets around Court Square, offering younger participants their own downtown race before the main event. The event includes advance packet pickup and guarantees shirts only for runners registered by the shirt deadline; race-day packet pickup is not available.
