Spooky Sprint- Houston 2026

Spooky Sprint- Houston is a Halloween-themed running event in Houston offering distances for nearly every type of participant: 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Kids Dash, a virtual race, and a Volunteer then Run option. The main in-person races use chip timing with live results and awards. The 1 Mile is untimed and intended for a relaxed fun run. Participants receive race items such as a designer shirt, custom bib, and finisher medal. Longer race registrations specify these items clearly. The event emphasizes the family aspect of Halloween running. The Kids Dash is a short, untimed run for children 10 and under, including a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and kids’ medal for registered children. Children can also run it without charge if they forgo the swag. Youth pricing is available for the 5K and 10K. Free race photos are included, and treats are available at the finish line. Those unable to attend in Houston can select the virtual option and still receive the event swag.
