State Games Pumpkin Run 2026

The State Games Pumpkin Run is an October Halloween-themed race held at Bonita Lakes, utilizing the Upper Lake boat ramp area in Meridian, Mississippi. The event features a 5K Pumpkin Run and a 1-mile Mini-Pumpkin Run. The shorter race begins in the morning, with the 5K starting thirty minutes later. The format is straightforward and family-friendly: participants are welcome to wear costumes, and one costume will receive an award. The 5K includes male and female age divisions, starting with 9 and under and extending to 70+, with awards for the top three finishers in each division. MUNA Federal Credit Union, SouthSouth John Deere, and Walmart are sponsors, and Tim Irvine serves as commissioner.
